Vadapav undoubtedly is the most popular item from Maharastrian cuisine, probably followed by the 'Misal'. Many would jump to argue that both are not a part of  traditional Maharastrian cuisine. I too believe so. But traditional cuisine from Maharastra is one of the least marketed cuisines, even in Mumbai.
