Vadapav undoubtedly is the most popular item from Maharastrian cuisine, probably followed by the 'Misal'. Many would jump to argue that both are not a part of traditional Maharastrian cuisine. I too believe so. But traditional cuisine from Maharastra is one of the least marketed cuisines, even in Mumbai. But there are still some places in South Mumbai that stick to their traditional menu and dish out some delectable Maharastrian delicacies.
